By ticking yes, you are acknowledging that the completion of this "A-D Training Log" is the PREFFERED version to upload your Assistance Dog/ Assistance Dog in Training. You also acknowledge that the completion of the more comprehensive "A-D Training Log" is an expectation according to CE Policy. This is a comprehensive Training Log that aids in not only tracking your training skills progress, but also assists CE with advocacy if required. Current CE Policy is that for Level's 3 and 4 - TWO Training Logs are to be submitted per week (in addition to ONE submitted by your CE Trainer). For those Client's who have passed final Level 4 Assessment, then it is an expectation that ONE Training Log be submitted per week. Failure to comply with these conditions will mean the following: Client’s in Level’s 3 and 4: If no Training Logs as per the above conditions have been submitted for a period of 2 weeks, a “First Warning” will be issued. If no Training Logs as per the above conditions have been submitted for a period of 4 weeks, a “Second Warning” will be issued. If no Training Logs as per the above conditions have been submitted for a period of 6-8 weeks, a “Final Warning” will be issued and immediate expulsion from the program will occur. If there are continual two weekly gaps for example, these will count as first, second and final warnings. Client’s who have passed their Public Standard’s Assessment: Should Client’s not submit a weekly Training Log under any circumstances, Canine Essentials Pty. Ltd. will not make available any advocacy services under any circumstances for situations such as Public Access issues and the like. Whilst advocacy services remains a paid service (albeit heavily discounted), Canine Essentials Pty. Ltd. chooses to use the Disability Discrimination Act (1992) – Section 54 A in this decision making process on this matter.
